Well we had a pretty good girls tennis season! Ourf number one singles player, senior Kendra Ganevsky, was able to win her first round of the Foothill League Prelims in singles, This was the first win in a Prelim for any Golden Valley Player, including the boys teams. Our senior doubles team of Kelly Kopp and Christine Yun had a two hour epic battle with the doubles team from Hart but last 6-3, 6-3. Our two other players, junior singles player Carol Lee and doubles team of Julie Kim( sophomore) and Christine Ganevsky got some valuable experience playing some of the best teams from the Foothill League.

We have some young players coming back in 2008 and so it should be a exciting year.
